I ❤️ Peckham

I was sent an interview recently with a photographer. In the interview the photographer said the only place they couldn’t photograph is Peckham, London. They felt the place had “an edge”.

I thought about contacting the person and seeing if they wanted to join me on my regular walk around the streets of Peckham, but eventually decided against it. I guess people have different comfort levels and having grown up in deprived areas, Peckham feels like a riot of life and is often joyous and alive with community. Yes, it has it’s difficulties but I’m proud of the people and the place.
