Find, Follow, Fuuuck

This is a street photography idea that I’ve used in my storytelling projects, I’ve heard a number of versions of it by Joel Meyerowitz, Joel Sternfeld and Matt Stuart.

Find

Find or sometimes called Fishing, look for a background or an environment which has promise and then wait for someone or something to enter the frame which works with the scene.

Follow

Find an interesting character and then observe them hoping that a photo can be made.

Fuuuck
