Shepway, Remain 38% | Leave 62%

I voted remain and have always been a staunch European. Basically I believe we are stronger together than separate despite the so called nationalistic trends that abound today.

I was amazed at the result and if iā€™m honest I look at the result as a protest vote against the political establishment. My views have not changed and I always hoped that because the vote was so close, the exit and terms would be a compromise. This appears to something that neither the UK politicians or Brussels can do.

In the short term I feel very pessimistic. In the longer term we will come back, but in a different position in the world financial and influence hierarchy.
